June Faves

Wow, this month flew by so fast. It's already the last day of the month and summer is slowly coming. Today, it was 65 degrees and the sun is taking it's time to come out, but it should be getting warmer next week!

9th- We visited Portland 3 weeks ago for Vadim's 20th birthday and had a great time celebrating with family at a restaurant and having dessert at home. I am so thankful for my 2 siblings and the older we get, I feel like the closer we get. I hope our relationship will only grow closer and stronger.

11-22nd- And then sickness hit home. I got sick with a cold for about 2 weeks, trying to heal it with so many different home remedies and OTC meds. Finally, as I was feeling better, my poor husband got sick and got bronchitis. So, everyone was out and enjoying the sunny weather and we were drinking cold meds. Oh, how grateful I am for a healthy, working body!

23rd- Yuriy surprised me with a little getaway to visit one of many Washington's islands, Whidbey Island. On the way there, we drove north and stopped by Cape Disappointment. It was very beautiful and definitely not a disappointment. 😂😆

29th- Yesterday,  I hosted our monthly Flourish group (from Christ's church) in my backyard and we had such good fellowship time. I am so thankful to be part of a group where we are so comfortable with sharing and praying for each other.
