It's Been a Minute

Well, its fall and life is finally calming down. Somehow, completely unplanned, I ended up with a fairly busy summer that seems to just have flown straight past me. I remember wishing summer would be over fast while I was in the midst of it, but looking back now I can't figure out where it's gone. I spent the majority of my summer reading, listening to podcasts, getting comfortable at my new job and settling into my new home. On top of that I ended up joining my brother in his coffee catering endeavors and really enjoyed getting to work with Lucid Coffee Catering at various weddings in the area. I've really been enjoying my job and am grateful daily for the opportunity to be in an environment I love, doing work that I care about and having management that cares about my success. I still can't believe that God granted me such a gift; after hearing from many people about their experiences, I'm realizing how special what I have is and that's it's

This year for my husband's birthday, I really wanted to get away somewhere. We decided to chase summer all the way to San Diego! We had such a great time exploring the beautiful beaches, small cute coastal towns, and relaxing. We got so lucky with beautiful 80 degree weather all weekend.   ~~Mariya Cheban

Summer 2018

This summer flew by pretty fast. Enjoyed many beautiful sunsets, ate a lot of ice cream, lake swims with friends, and got to enjoy short trips with my husband and family.  In June , Yuriy and I both got sick with a cold for about 2 weeks. After finally getting better, we went on a short trip to Deception Pass. It was so beautiful and we enjoyed driving around and exploring different beaches.  July was a beautiful, hot summer month. I enjoyed the sunsets and warm evenings so much! We visited my relatives in Walla Walla for a couple days and soon after celebrated out 3 year wedding anniversary! Wow, how time flew. It feels like so much and little has happened. So blessed to have a loving and Christian husband who truly loves me. I am so grateful to God for his gift and to continue growing and learning together.  We were planning to visit Mt. Rainier in August but due to weather, we visited Vashon Island instead with my siblings and Vicki! I

Wow, this month flew by so fast. It's already the last day of the month and summer is slowly coming. Today, it was 65 degrees and the sun is taking it's time to come out, but it should be getting warmer next week! 9th- We visited Portland 3 weeks ago for Vadim's 20th birthday and had a great time celebrating with family at a restaurant and having dessert at home. I am so thankful for my 2 siblings and the older we get, I feel like the closer we get. I hope our relationship will only grow closer and stronger. 11-22nd- And then sickness hit home. I got sick with a cold for about 2 weeks, trying to heal it with so many different home remedies and OTC meds. Finally, as I was feeling better, my poor husband got sick and got bronchitis. So, everyone was out and enjoying the sunny weather and we were drinking cold meds. Oh, how grateful I am for a healthy, working body! 23rd- Yuriy surprised me with a little getaway to visit one of many Washington's islands, Whidbey Is

2 years?!

How time flies! I cannot believe it's been 2 years since I have posted anything on this blog. I really want to be consistent with posting and connect with my favorite girls in sharing special life moments and events.  I am currently sitting at one of my favorite coffee shops, Anthem, in Puyallup, sipping on my favorite drink (white mocha) and working on this blog.  I would like to share some big events that have happened since the beginning of this year. Well, first off, I really want to share some pictures from Vicki's 25th birthday celebration in Lincoln City in December. Vicki rented a beautiful house for a weekend getaway to celebrate her birthday with her close friends. I am so honored to be in her life and am grateful to share this big event in her life. I also made a small video that will be linked below. January: New year~ 6th-Visited Leavenworth with Tanya and Yuriy for a day and had a blast playing in the snow and drinking coffee.  25th-Our
