Four Fair Maidens

The tradition of having a picnic on Columbia watching airplanes fly above us next to PDX started a couple of years ago and we never miss an opportunity to go back to our same spot again and again.   I love the grand view of the river, the bridge and sky…but most of all, the heartfelt and genuine conversations we have at that special spot.   I’m so grateful for moments like these when time seems to stand still.

It's definitely funny how things work out.  Being out of school and not yet working I thought I was going to have more time to blog and such but wow, I was wrong.  Life outside of school and work is just as busy and I always find something to do (usually it involves the kitchen and lots of food).  Anyway, I came across this very sweet song that we all owe to our grandma's for all the good they have done in our lives.  I'm sure you'll love it too...

This past weekend Mariya and I threw a birthday party, possibly for the last time together. As kids we always used to combine our birthdays and celebrate together since our dates are only two weeks apart. I had an amazing time and thank God for the friendships I have with the awesome girls that came over. It really is a blessing that so often is taken for granted.
