Four Fair Maidens

Today, we had great, sunny weather. So, of course I wanted some ice cream with my girls. We got YoCream and walked along the beautiful Columbia River on the Portland side. It was a great time with fun conversations! 😊 

This year for spring break my mom really wanted to go back to Victoria, Canada. So we decided to have a girls trip with moms and daughters. There were a total of 9 ladies. We had a great time exploring  the beautiful city! 

The tradition of having a picnic on Columbia watching airplanes fly above us next to PDX started a couple of years ago and we never miss an opportunity to go back to our same spot again and again.   I love the grand view of the river, the bridge and sky…but most of all, the heartfelt and genuine conversations we have at that special spot.   I’m so grateful for moments like these when time seems to stand still.

It's definitely funny how things work out.  Being out of school and not yet working I thought I was going to have more time to blog and such but wow, I was wrong.  Life outside of school and work is just as busy and I always find something to do (usually it involves the kitchen and lots of food).  Anyway, I came across this very sweet song that we all owe to our grandma's for all the good they have done in our lives.  I'm sure you'll love it too...

This past weekend Mariya and I threw a birthday party, possibly for the last time together. As kids we always used to combine our birthdays and celebrate together since our dates are only two weeks apart. I had an amazing time and thank God for the friendships I have with the awesome girls that came over. It really is a blessing that so often is taken for granted. Recently, I discovered the artist Lauren Daigle. And she sure has amazing talent! I love her voice and the songs that she sings. I'm so grateful that I got to spend this past Saturday with Yura! I'm so thankful to be loved and cared for when I least deserve it! Sometimes it feels like you're messing up or just need some help and God gives us those people that are always there to listen or give advice and keep loving me.  Love you!
